Location close to home. Great for a one day getaway or pic nics. Friendly staff and other visitors. Only there seems to be broken glass. If your kids are going to wade in the water I'd recommend swim shoes.
Its a nice place to relax. The water was not as clear and its rather muddy and did find many pieces of glass in the water. I wouldn't recommend for small children since your feet sink into the mudd once your in the water. Although it's a nice place just watch out for glass and your children!
Had a great day here! I loved how the water was shallow for wading on the shore and the gold flecks in the sand! Definitely bring something for shade, as there is not much on the shore. Great alternative to the ocean!
Worse then the other dump hole across the river. And 34 bux a night for tent camping is too much greedy asses. Dont go fish.
Had a great time, campgrounds are taken care of but you can find broken glass in the dirt. They don't do a perfect job with stopping smokers or glass users on the crowded beach but they do well enough.
